debianedu-Stretch: x-window stürzt ab

Ein Hallo in die Runde.

Habe folgenden Rechner:
Dell Precision T5500
Intel Xeon X5687
Radeon 7850
SAS HDD

Neuinstallation von: http://ift.tt/2h7edOu

Problem: X-window (KDE) stürzt in unregelmäßigen Abständen ab.
firmware-linux-nonfree, libgl1-mesa-dri, xserver-xorg-video-ati sind installiert.

Nun stehe ich erst mal auf dem Schlauch.
Welche Log-Dateien muß ich mir genauer ansehen um die Ursache zu finden?
Mit dem Xorg.log komme ich nicht weiter.
Nach einem crash steht nur
