syslog & hostname

vendredi 25 novembre 2016

Hi Ho,

ich hätte gern für jeden einzellnen Rechner seine eigenen log-files.
Aber %HOSTNAME% will einfach nicht funktionieren bei mir.

Nutzen tuh ich Debian mit Rsyslogd.
Code:

# lsb_release -ds
Debian GNU/Linux 8.6 (jessie)

# sudo rsyslogd -v
rsyslogd 8.4.2, compiled with:
        FEATURE_REGEXP:                                Yes
        GSSAPI Kerberos 5 support:                Yes
FEATURE_DEBUG (debug build, slow code):        No
        32bit Atomic operations supported:        Yes
        64bit Atomic operations supported:        Yes
        memory allocator:                        system default
        Runtime Instrumentation (slow code):        No
        uuid support:                                Yes
Number of Bits in RainerScript integers: 64

Irgendwo habe ich gelesen das Debian mit Absicht alte Konfikurationseinstellungen nutzt, weil es angeblich mehr flexiebel sein soll.
Hier meine /etc/rsyslog.conf
Code:

#  /etc/rsyslog.conf        Configuration file for rsyslog.
#
#                        For more information see
#                        /usr/share/doc/rsyslog-doc/html/rsyslog_conf.html
